There really is a lot of hope placed on the big project started by both MGM Mirage and Dubai World.  In fact, this big project is being seen as the saving grace of Las Vegas, which, as we all know, has been hit the hardest by the recession.  The city is now crippled by half-finished buildings, closed casinos, high unemployment rate, low real estate market, and a whole lot more, but, as stated above, they have one big hope that could at least put things to right, and this is the City Center.
