It might have been a very innocent game of gin rummy and a round of poker for these forty-two elderly ladies, but it became a big nightmare for the ladies when police raided the house they were playing in and stated that they were under arrest for having participated in illegal poker.

Neighbors called up the police station and complained that they were becoming bothered by the noises and activities coming from one house in their street. When the police got to the private home, they were astounded to find several felt tables, and playing at the poker tables were 42 elderly ladies, whose ages ranged between 75 and 95. Read more
